If AMD's Mobile GPU really did overheat...I doubt apple would even allow it in their product. I mean Apple does have a quite high standard.

I don't ever recall Apple ever using an AMD CPU...but I could be wrong. 

 

There's a reason why Apple chooses Intel for the time being and for the last several years. But it can all change.

Well, not with this generation's of APU. The single core performance isn't up to par with Intel. 

 

But if Zen does make it, and the single core performance is good, then we might have Apple making an consideration to use AMD.

 

But lowering prices.....I don't see that ever happening.
