Hi Everyone,

Im planning to build my first budge pc and i have tons of questions.

All my parts will be bought in www.pcx.com.ph

CPU: Intel Pentium G3258

Mobo: MSI H81m-E34 (Second Hand)

RAM: 8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport

HDD: 1TB WD Blue

Case: Thermaltake Versa H24

Question Parts;

PSU: Antec VP450p

GPU: Palit GT630 (This is second hand, Ill just use this first because im lacking of money for MSI Radeon R7 250x)

Questions:

1. If i use all of this, there is no bottleneck?

2. Is my PSU enough for this build?

3. How many watts needed in my build?

4. If i will have a extra money in the future and i will use MSI Radeon R7 250x, Can my PSU handle the build again?

5. What if i got extra money again for motherboard, what is the best budget MOBO for my build? Please refer to pcx.com.ph items.

Please answer my question in numbers/#1,2,3,4,5.

Any recommendation?

Thank you in advance :)

Antec Basiq aren't the greatest. I'd suggest going for Earthwatts.

1. In the low end, there's not really a thing as a bottleneck imo. You're fine.

2. Using PCPP PCPartPicker part list

3. Based off PCPP, about 300, but I would still pick up a 500w power supply.
4. Theoretically yes, I would try to get a better power supply though. (this one?)
5. This is the best , but this is the best budget oriented.

Hi Everyone,

What budget, what country? did you already buy the motherboard? because that's a rather low end board

Also what are you doing with it?

Wait, Philippians, well shit

Well ya know I don't wanna be labeled a racist or anything, but is this PC going to be used for Dota 2?

If this is a gaming PC on a low budget, an APU is going to be your best bet, though normally you want as fast RAM as you can get for a reasonable price, there's only one dual channel option avalible on that site and it's only 1600mhz, you might be able to OC it higher though

A8 7600

MSI A78M-E35 V2

Gskill 8gb 4*2, 1600mhz

Total 9,100

APU is basically the same, your FPS would be a little lower due to the RAM speed

In finding some benchmarks, the A10 7850K OC'd does 37 fps@720p in crysis 3 here, A8 7600 would be a bit slower

http://www.hardcoreware.net/amd-kaveri-a10-7850k-apu-overclocked/2/

the 630 manages 30fps here at 720p, performance suprisingly seems comparable

ALSO, kind of important, do you know if that 630 is GDDR5 or GDDR3? The one in the test above is GDDR5 and it'll be way faster with that RAM compared to a DDR3 version, as I guess they made 2 versions of the card?

from a quick google search it appears to be DDR3, which means the APU should actually be faster than it

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?
