I'm writing this third time now...

Hello. I've been looking at various parts for the last 2 weeks, and I came up with this rig:

CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($254.88 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 82.5 CFM CPU Cooler  ($89.88 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: Asus Z170 PRO GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  ($162.99 @ Micro Center)
Storage: Kingston Savage 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($96.95 @ Mac Mall)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($65.88 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: PowerColor Radeon R9 390 8GB Video Card  ($288.98 @ Newegg)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM (64-bit)  ($89.88 @ OutletPC)
Wireless Network Adapter: TP-Link TL-WDN4800 802.11a/b/g/n PCI-Express x1 Wi-Fi Adapter  ($39.75 @ OutletPC)
Monitor: Asus VG248QE 144Hz 24.0" Monitor  ($262.98 @ B&H)
Keyboard: Razer BlackWidow Chroma Wired Gaming Keyboard  ($157.99 @ B&H)
Mouse: Razer DeathAdder Chroma Wired Optical Mouse  ($59.99 @ Amazon)
Headphones: Razer KRAKEN 7.1 CHROMA 7.1 Channel Headset  ($84.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $1945.10

Is this rig any good? Are these parts compatible with each other? Do you have any suggestions that would fit my budget?

A few answers to questions in a pinned thread:

1. Budget & Location

My budget is 9000 PLN, which converts to about 2250 $US

2. Aim

I will mostly be playing graphic intensive games, like Battlefront, or crazy modded Skyrim

3. Monitors

Only one, I never really liked the idea of multiple monitors

4. Peripherals

Yes. While my mouse and keyboard are more fitting for a office worker on very low budget than for a gamer. My current headphones serve me well in terms of sound quality, but I have a few problems in terms of build quality and overall aesthetics, so I'd like to change them. As for the monitor, technically my current one would be okay, but I want to have a Display Port monitor (Techquickie seduced me) that has 144Hz.

5. Why are you upgrading?

There are many fairly new titles that I'd like to play but my current rig won't let me enjoy them at high details at an enjoyable FPS. I might also try my luck in gaming videos, which requires additional horsepower.

Alternatively, look at my profile to check my current build and suggest some upgrades for up to 5000 PLN (1250 $US)

Not bad at all! You could technically get some better price/performance parts mixed in there, like an R9 290 instead of that 970, but thats your choice.

And I would switch out that power supply for an XFX or EVGA G2 PSU, that Corsair line isn't the greatest for higher end builds

But other than that, I'm sure it would serve you well

The only thing that I would change really is the PSU. Something like an EVGA GS series PSU would be a good choice.

You could also save some money on the CPU cooler by going for something like a Phanteks Phanteks PH-TC14PE

I just got 2 warning points so I'll try to be nice.

-Overkill cooler unless extreme OC, trim down on it abit

-Invest extra $$$ into a better GPU

-most people say 390, you might be able to squeeze a 390x with the extra savings or a used 980

-Trim down on case unless you really need it

-change PSU to XFX or a better brand

-OS can be cheaper at Reddit

-Razer stuff is trashy IMO, but keep it if you like.

Why exactly is Corsair PSU bad? I have one in my PC right now, for over 1,5 years, and it works just fine. CS550M also has a 80Plus Gold certificate

Their high-end models are good, the cheap ones use questionable capacitors, apparently.
