Is my FX-6300 gonna be okay for another year and a half or so? I just wanna know when I might have to upgrade because I heard the FX series are not that great for gaming.

I don't think the FX series will last that long, I'd really play it safer and go with a Skylake i3 and overclock it with an ASRock (Z170) motherboard (or a few others, can't name em off the top of my head)
