Buying second hand aio

Go to solution Solved by Sam Z Man,

Because the pump will eventually fail and kill something, and because you aren't the original buyer I wouldn't do it because warenty will be next to impossible to get.

This may sound like a stupid question but how can I test to see if an aio is in full working order. There is a h80i on sale for £40 and I need a single fan aio but I don't know what to look out for or whether I should just buy a new aio. any tips or suggestions?

Thats what I have for my cpu but I wanted an aio for my gpu - just want to try it out really and the reasons behind which are too long to explain

ohhh i see well you spent a lot of money on your gpu i wouldnt void the warranty and screw with it, with preused parts

I forgot to update my profile. I bought a 980 off a friend recently who upgraded to a 980ti so warranty is not an issue but since two of you seem to agree I think I might just get a new aio
