 what M.2 drive for  OS and applications?

 

I was planning a Samuung XP941  512 GB

 

 

 My main application is Photoshop not gaming

 

the next question will be a case and water colling for box not CPU

What is your total budget? It is possible that we might be able to put together a more powerful build for you - for example, such an expensive motherboard is not necessary, and the money could be invested in other areas.

 I have purchased the X99 Asus Delux motherboardthe

 

 

Intel i& 5820K procesor

 

 

and have Ceil quad channel kit of ddr4  2400- 30000HHx  4GB X 4  QC kit so 16 GB which should be more trha adaquate 

 

My photoshop file get to 200 MD  and my 5 yeard old system struggles.  I was a syster to last another five years  

 

 

the budget is not a real issue   I could doubble the RAM  so take it from 16 to 32 GB  on the motherboard

 

 

 

I have a Coolmaster Hyper 212 EVO cpu cooler

 

I was planning a SSD and a 2 TB hard disk    there are 2 M.2 slots on the motherboard    - what the hell    I have the tech I want to use it so I will get a M.2   stroage just because  I can

 

I will not need to force greater performange from the system  so npo overclocking planned.
