The Crew- Not Working.

I'm asking for a friend- I finally got him to get The Crew on Steam. He downloaded it fine, but when he went to play for the first time, Steam never finished the First Time Setup. After a restart and a reinstall, it atill is broken. Any ideas?

Have you tried Verifying the game after the download?

First thing we tried.

we need more then this.

 

try restarting the steam client. right click on it in the task bar "quit steam" then relaunch it and try again

We've done everything. No idea how to fix it.

My friend had the same issue, you have to activate the game.

oh yea the crew is a ubisoft game. go install uplay then try again

He didn't need to do that I don't think, he just needed to add the code.
