What do you think - will suits/wearables with sensors (where you have the sensors attached to your body) be the future for motion capture or rather good 3D cameras with depth sensors (something like kinect or realsense)?

My guess is that it depends what you need it for...
Mocap for body - first option
Mocap for face - second option

 

BUT: maybe VR pushes stuff like the kinect/depth-sensors... like i have seen with the HTC Vive (which was demoed at CES 2016 with two room-sensor to track the movements)

What do you think?

(By the way... its hard to find a mocap software for facial animation which works seamlessly with Blender - i have tried Brekel- i could not get it work within Blender... if someone has some other options please let me know)
