Hi all,

I recently got my PC back from a PC repair shop (I had been trying to fix it myself for ages) and realised it was only running at 800Mhz. I eventually found that this is the result of the Slow Boot Mode switch being on so I turned it off but the PC failed to boot when it was. It would just freeze up before the windows 10 login screen, absoloutely no issues with it switched on though. Any suggestions on how I can get it to run at full speed? Thanks.

System Specs:

  • MSI Z97 MPOWER
  • Intel i5 4690k
  • 2x4gb RAM sticks (not an obvious brand)
  • RM850 PSU
  • Radeon HD7770 Ghz Edition
  • H80i GT CPU cooler
  • 240GB Crucial ssd for boot
  • 1TB Samsung HDD for storage
  • Windows 10 64-bit
