So a friend of mine decided to upgrade his system recently, and had some trouble getting everything to work. I went over to his place, having more experience and all, I installed his CPU in the motherboard, the PSU all that stuff, then we reached hte front panel connectors. His case being extremely old, had these cables: HD. led, power led, 2xGND, a nameless 9 pin connector, also USB 1 and USB2. We had no idea which one to connect where, since the motherboard instructions (asrock h81m-dg4) assumed that the case was more modern or something? For example, it says that it needs the same cable multiple times. Also, it requires 3 GND cables while he only has 2.

I have a Fury Nitro and an FX 8320E. Screw my life?

you may be able to follow the cables and see where they connect on the case. this might solve your problem

Connect PLED+ at the right-top corner of the header near to 24 pin connector. PLED- should go next to it.
Connect HD. LED+ at the bottom-left corner and HD. next to it.

Power Switch goes next to PLED headers and Reset switch should be below power switch.

Thank you all, but found no such thing as a power and reset switch.

EDIT: probably the POWER SW is the power switch, no such thing as a reset though.

Yes it is. Reset Switch is optional so your case may not have one.
