Ok when it comes to building a gaming system...I am a noob    :D   :) So I am not sure exactly what route to take. Either let the CPU stay at its core or OC it.

1. Budget & Location
USA the 1st build will be $2000 or less(can go over a little, monitor not included)

2nd build will be $3500 or less.(Monitor not included)

2. Aim
Main will be video games and when I start my next MMO i plan on streaming (on a 2nd monitor) and doing some video editing (nothing too crazy on the editing part just basic and simple stuff). Main games i play/played are Total war series, Dota 2, LOL, CS:GO, different MMO's now and new upcoming MMO's. I will also be web browsing using MSoffice mainly word/excel.

3. Monitors
ASUS ROG SWIFTpg279q 2560x1440p will be my main monitor but plan on adding a 2nd later to maybe watch a movie or anime while im playing a games. Also 2nd monitor i'll add my ps4 on to it. I did post a thread in the display section if my 2nd display should be a monitor or good/decent tv(no one has responded to me yet QQ)(but here is the link in the display forums if u wanna head over http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/519296-2nd-monitor-or-2nd-tv/).

4. Peripherals

Windows 10 PRO.

INTEL CPU(im on the skylake wagon)

INTEL 750 Series 400GB PCI-E main will add 2nd ssd later or if it fits in your build. Also finally when im ready to stream i'll add an external storage to save all my videos on.

Water cooling(for the 2nd build I am leaning on a custom water cooling loop system)(seen lots of videos of it and I like it)

Corsair 780T white or black.(will a radiator fit good on this model along with everything else?)(or if you have a different case in mind feel free to use that)

I want the color of my parts matching. I do plan on adding some LED lights/strips or even a black light inside it. Will also get custom decals to fit in different areas of case.

5. Why are you upgrading?
My current PC i7-3770 @ 3.40GHz, GeForce GTX 660 with 32 GB of RAM which is 3 years old now and bought it prebuilt like that I plan on giving it to my little brother and my brothers pc (which was my 1st build ever $600) is going to my nephew and so the new build im going to do is for myself. The new PC i build will be passed down to my little brother within the next few years as I will do another build that will be tripple 4k monitor set up with SLI or QUAD GPUs but I will start to save up for that starting next year

Announcement: Don't post if you don't intend on making the machine. "Dream machine" threads are created every day and go nowhere.

That is by MG2R. I can understand that but one thing I found out when I started to build/put stuff together....the more I look around the more hook I got and the more stuff I added...and the result ended up is $$$$$more and more of $$$$$ so I can  understand  how sometimes it'll just stay a "Dream machine" b/c things are not cheap lol.

Anyways I do plan on building a PC for myself and is ready to pull the trigger...the only drawback is which route will I end up picking on the build that im looking for myself.

Thank you in advance for your builds/suggestions. I do plan on building this system within the next 2-6 weeks or so. Could be quicker but the thing is that there are many different types of build that ive yet to finalize on what items i will need. If I build a system soon it will be the 1st build im looking for, but if i wait and save this money and add funds from my next check then I will be able to build the 2nd build request i have in this thread.

First build - this will do well in gaming. I'd advise to not get the Intel SSD because that'll eat a good chunk of your budget. The 850 EVO will do well. The two 980Tis in SLI will ensure a consistent gaming experience, able to handle any game at a consistent framerate. Unfortunately, it is over your budget by a bit which I hope you don't mind:

For your $3500 build, your Intel SSD can be put in. Nothing too overkill here, the 5820K will be great for streaming and provide a good gaming experience with the two 980Tis.
