New mouse or software fix?

Go to solution Solved by olbaze,

There's no adjustable DPI beyond that.

Doubling the 450 to 900 would result in inaccuracy, as you'd just be telling the computer to double-count. What you can do is set your Windows sensitivity to 4/11 and set the mouse to 1800 DPI. That will add a 0.5 multiplier to the DPI, effectively cutting it down to 900.

FWIW, the Abyssus (not Abyass) was Razer's attempt at a no-frills, 100% LAN safe mouse. Rather than pursuing that route, then went with the Synapse instead.

I currently have the Razer Abyass 2014, it is a decent mouse for the price. Only issue is the dpi it goes from 450 to 1800 in one shift of the button. this has been annoying me a lot as of late. I am thinking that I would love to be able to use software to double the dpi of it if possible. Is there a program that would allow me to do that if not guess I need a new mouse.

It does not work with the abyass last I checked. The abyass has a physical switch on it for dpi adjustment

Yeah it recognizes it like it says I can do heat map and stats but as I already thought it is useless for dpi changing. So yes it does connect but is useless to me.

Thats odd... So you dont have under the mouse > Performance, DPI settings?
