Hi everyone, I've posted on the LTT forums before but nothing serious. Now, I really need help.

So I'm in England doing a computer science Bsc at Loughborough University, a well respected university with a strong CS course. I'm in my third year of four and to be frank, I hate it. Over the last few years, I've come to hate this course and come to realize that CS is not for me. I initially wanted to study games design or anything related to the games industry but my parents thought it was a bad idea and said that CS is a much safer bet, and they are right. It wasn't until my second year that a group of other kids and I had to create a website and maintain and improve on it throughout the year, to simulate a business. I was assigned the role of lead writer since my coding skills are the weakest and I decided it would be a games review website. I was pumping out reviews for that thing on a weekly basis, I had no idea how fun it could be to write about games and really dissect them, matter of fact my Spec Ops: The Line review was over 2000 words long and several of the staff members in the department would actually read my reviews. The third year for me is kind of a nightmare really, most of our lecturers have been useless so far with on a few good ones. I feel like giving up, like i'm not fit for this course. I started looking up other universities that offer a games course and it feels like something I should be a part of.

Here are some of the few I found:

1) http://www.solent.ac.uk/courses/2016/undergraduate/computer-games-art-ba/course-details.aspx

2) http://www.abertay.ac.uk/courses/ug/comopgamestech/

3)http://www.brunel.ac.uk/courses/undergraduate/games-design-ba

4)http://www.port.ac.uk/courses/computing-and-creative-technologies/bsc-hons-computer-games-technology/#overview

5/6)http://www.shu.ac.uk/prospectus/course/720/ or http://www.shu.ac.uk/prospectus/course/502/

To clarify things I don't hate programming, I find it boring. I've always enjoyed the design aspects of the industry, "What makes a game a compelling experience?" sort of thing. If anyone can offer me a bit of advice or a really good games course in the UK, I'd highly appreciate it.

Thanks and sorry for the long read.
