How do you even pc?

Hey there,

Yesterday i had a thread open about how i wanted to build a new system with some older parts i still had around. . . today they died. :(

So i gues i'll have to get an entirely new system and thats where you guys come in because i can barely start my PC much less figure out which components are actually good for their price range.

These are the details:

System is used for gaming, aim is basic 1080p 60 fps gaming, i sometimes edit a video or do something with photoshop but not often and by no means professional.

I am in germany so the currency should be € (euro)

The budget is max 1500 € the lower the better.

I'd like to save as much money as i can while still getting a system that can run even newer games for the next three year at least playable, if i have to turn down graphics to low its fine by me.

If possible i'd like to go good performance > good looks. The case can be plain as long as it's not to loud, i'm fine with a bit of noise.

No peripherals needed. No OPS needed, i got my win7 ult key and i'm fine with it.

pls NO   AMD stuff, i have nothing but bad experiences with their stuff, it's intel and nVidia for me even if it is more expensive.

Thank you for your help =)

PS: it would be super nice if you could add why you chose a specific part as i'd like to learn about parts and how they work and so on so i can do this stuff myself should i need to upgrade someday in the future myself.

Went with a Skylake build, using a CPU cooler and Z170 mobo for some overclocking. The Samsung SSD is one of the best in the business for its price, and a 1TB HDD should be enough for you. I'm assuming you don't need to SLI in the future so I went with a good ol' 650W XFX PSU. And the 980Ti is one of the best GPUs you can get, expect good performance even in 1440p.

You could probably fit in a 980 ti there but wtf, 1080p, no need for a 980 ti.
