long story short, got a 2ds, no games i like, fuck it ill try pokemon (never played). X/Y has a higher metacritic score, OR/AS is newer. Which game do i get and which variant, also, is it really worth it? OR/AS are £35, thats as much as a AAA title and £10 more than the witcher 3, which i assume i would enjoy more and get more hours out of.

the games are the exact same just the legendary pokemon is different so whatever legendaries you think looks cooler get that one. so X if you think that deer looking pokemon is better and Y if you think that red flying one looks cooler

Would an average non pokemon fan manage to get 35 hours out of that game?

yes, just leveling up a single pokemon can take hours. and you'll need to level them up by doing trainer and wild battles to take on the "bosses" so  easily 35 hours . i still have pokemon red (not fire red the original red) from like 10 year ago i play on the same save file to this day trying to catch every single pokemon and level them all up to at least 100.

ive never had to go out of my way to level up pokemon in order to win. especially in the newer ones.

as/or are a great starting point. x/y were also very good.  the story is basically identical within the same generation, the difference is the legendary you get. and a handful of other pokemon.  also in or/as its whether you fight team aqua or team magma. which doesnt matter, at all.

even if you arent a major fan, i expect you'll get a good 40-50 hours out of it.

keep in mind though, its not the witcher, dont expect 100+ hours unless you get super into it.

How do Reavers clean their spears?

The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again.

Pokemon Red and Blue are getting re-released digitally on the Nintendo shop in January for only 10 bucks. I consider them the best Pokemon games since you can tell what element of Pokemon you're fighting just by looking at it rather than having to use another screen to constantly look up stuff with the newer games.

Is that an updated version like they did for ruby and saphire? Or is it the same game?
