Just noticed that the MSI Gaming App raises my idle temps to around 60c with a high of 74c, which is not bad overall but I don't like being at 60c idle. So I uninstalled the app and now my idle temps are at under 30c. Not sure exactly why but just a heads up for you MSI users.

Gaming App?

 

I've never heard of that. It probably auto-OC' s your GPU and CPU. Use MSI AfterBurner.

Yea its some program that MSI recommends but I used it for like 4 days now and my idles were up around 60c. The app didn't do much of anything, just adds like +25mhz to the clocks thats about it. I noticed my card was constantly running so thats why the idle was soo high. Now I completely uninstalled it and my idles are back below 30c (I live in Colorado Springs and its like 15f outside and I don't run my heat because the cold never bothered me anyways...lol) and now I am getting normal idle temps. So just a heads up, MSI gaming app is useless.
