Wifi Connectivity - Compute Stick

Will the compute stick hold up streaming movies while the router being downstairs, if not is there a way I can connect the ethernet to the little dongle with some sort or mechanism?

Someone tell me if i'm wrong but I think the compute stick has pretty good wifi and you should be fine.

I read this "Stick uses a single chip for both WiFi and Bluetooth communications, and it’s terrible at multitasking. The only way to fix it is to disable WiFi. Seriously?"

Then I guess the solution is not to buy a compute stick?

I could really do with one though, I need something small to connect to my TV so I can access the internet with Javascript.
