I just got an Alesis MultiMix4 for christmas, but the power supply i got with it is the wrong one, it is 10v .5A DC and i need 10v .5A AC.  does anybody know where i could find one that would work?

I can help with programming and hardware.

the psu is for an alesis multimix4.  it takes in 10v at 500ma AC.

You will need a 10V AC 500mA power supply [Part E-PT-043-00]

i saw that, way to expensive just for a psu, i kept reading and a guy said that 9v 1A would work and i found this, is this ok? http://www.ebay.com/itm/REPLACEMENT-9-VOLT-1AMP-AC-AC-POWER-SUPPLY-ADAPTER-9V-1A-1000MA-CHARGER-PSU-/251039163052

generally i would say 500 mA is better, too much current is usually not good, though i also never really worked with ac psus so if you can't find one 1A should not make too much of a difference with these low voltages...

Edit: quick search reveals that 1amp should be fine, though i take no responsibility
