Paritioning a hard drive for multiple users

A bit of a last minute request but hopefully someone can help.

 

Im building a computer for my parents for Christmas and I have two user profiles set up, one for mom and one for dad. I want to have it so they can't see each others stuff, but when I saw something to their hard drive, it can be accessed by both accounts.

 

They have windows on a small C: SSD and a larger disk D drive. The D drive is what I want to ideally partition into two halves, one for each account.

But won't that all automatically go to the small drive with the OS?

you can change the user folder location

A mod can delete this, I figure it out!

 

I made 2 partitions and you can go pretty deep into the security options to remove permission for the opposite user. Now 1 can only access their half of the disk.
