Hi,

My main account on Windows 10 Mail is not syncing. I can't remove the account, because I just don't have that option.

And I can't add the account because it says that it is already added.

When I sync the mailbox I get this error. 0x800400c8

Photo attached.

Quick response would be great.

Have you altered the privacy options in the win 10 settings menu. There's a couple that mess with Windows mail.

Why won't it let you remove your account?

Also what's with the link to windowsphone.com ...

Yeah, i thought there was something suspicious about that. Why would microsoft link you to "windowsphone.com". They usually just bing search "windows 10 help"...

So that's showing up in a Windows 10 app. Which suggests a virus.

EDIT: You're on desktop Windows 10 right? Just checking.
