PC doesn't start with GPU plugged in

Go to solution Solved by Watdyaneed,

I do not know what happened, bu suddenly the PC works as it should, which is strange, but relieving.

So last year I built my frist, and it has worked great up until a while ago when I started experiencing some unpredictable crashes. A few days ago, the PC stopped powering up correctly. When I turn on the PC with a graphics card plugged in (the GPU doesn't even need to be connected to the PSU for this to happen), nothing plugged into the motherboard works, and there is no image on the monitor. The fan I have plugged in with molex starts spinning, as does the GPU's fans. The power and HDD LED's are glowing non-stop.

When I start the PC without any graphics card plugged in, it starts as it should, but since neither my CPU nor motherboard have onboard graphics, I get no image on the monitor. I've tried using two different GPU's, but the PC won't start with either of them.

What do you think is the problem, and how do I solve it?
