HDMI out equalizer? (AMD)

Hello there! I have a problem. I use Realtek's sound driver. Recently I bought a soundbar for my TV and I have my PC hooked up via HDMI (to the TV, and the soundbar is connected to the TV via optical). But Realtek doesn't give a fuck about HDMI so I can't play around with the equalizer to set a profile that I like. How do I solve this problem? Why does realtek need to be so crap?

Because HDMI is a digital datastream and therefore it necessarilly bypasses your onboard audio?

I know that, but somehow that doesn't seem to help me.

Too bad?

 

You may be able to mess around with drivers for the  GPU audio device, but your best bet is probably to EQ the media player you are using.
