monitors usb hub

Go to solution Solved by Glenwing,

so i can charge it off my monitor with no effect but it wont charge fast?

Yes probably.

Can kind of confirm what Glenwing said. As far as I know, the USB hub in your monitor completely bypasses the monitor itself. The maximum current and voltage and whatever more will depend on the individual hub, on the cable used, and on the USB port on your computer. I'm pretty sure nothing will get damaged. I've sometimes charged my phone (a bit) off of my USB monitor hub. :)
