Desktop Background Motion Image

Go to solution Solved by Vitalius,

VLC has a "play video as background" option. It also has a "play at 0.25x speed" option.

There are ways. Also, try getting a slo-mo gif or something like it via google.

Go to Google -> Click Images (top right corner) -> Type in search times (i.e. slo mo gif) -> Click Search -> Click Search Tools -> Click Type -> Click Animated.

Now, only GIFs that are animated will pop up.

Hi, so I've been thinking of a perfect solution for a desktop background that avoids collision with stand still images and I think I've come up with a solution. I had an idea of having a background that would be always moving but at a very low speed so it's not a distraction. I was wondering, would this be possible to have a moving desktop background and if so, where could I find something like this?

Convert a GIF to a video file of some type or use a video.

Play the video in VLC.

I don't see the option in VLC

See all the menus in the top left? (Media, Playback, Audio, Video, etc.)

Click Video.

Click "Set as Wallpaper".

Click the repeat button on the bottom left to where it repeats that same video repeatedly.

Is there a way to make it loop the entire clip? I keep trying the A to B thing in VLC but it won't work

Click the repeat button on the bottom left to where it repeats that same video repeatedly.

Down by the playlist button on the bottom right, there is a repeat button. Set it to repeat 1 (click it twice when repeat is off) and it should repeat the whole clip infinitely.

EDIT:

@Yames

This is a MAGNIFICENT one:
