Ubuntu 4:3 Streched

I recently moved from windows to linux and I want to know how to play my games in 4:3 streched mode.

I am having an nvidia graphics card (gt 520m), and a intel cpu (2330m) and I am using a laptop not a desktop.

 

Are there any commands for this in the terminal, or can I do through the GUI? And how can I do this if it is possible?
