So I am currently using a 1360x768 TV as my primary monitor for my PC would it be worth upgrading to a 1080p 'proper' monitor? Is the difference noticeable? I have a more than powerful enough PC to run 1080p seeing as I have a R9 390 but I just wanna know should I spend some money on a 1080p monitor?

the most noticeable difference will likely be input latency. Muuuuuch smaller on a "proper monitor".

Visually though for me it's not worth the money you'll have to pay for a new monitor.

it is worth it, as you can still use your other one, and with a higher definition monitor, it is noticeable.  it is beautiful

So at 1080p many people have said that above 25" the pixel density is too low so pixels can start to be seen. Is this true?

Well you could get a 'proper' 1440p monitor too :). Yup some people with eagle eyes don't like 27" 1080p screens.

If you make a post contradicting mine that doesn't directly address my claims, or cites 'facts' without evidence, I'm probably not going to bother responding to it, because you probably didn't bother reading my post properly, and because life is too short. It doesn't mean I don't have an answer for you. It means I'm not dignifying you with a response.

quoted from glenwing "The Dell U2515H (1440p) or U2414H (1080p) are usually considered the best choices."

they cost <300 $ each AAAAAND are IPS panels so you have much better colors ;)

depending what you use it for you could take a look at a higher hz rate

for fps gaming more than 60 would be nice to have

and i see you are a member of team red, so you might want to try "free/adaptive"-sync ( team red displays are less expensive than team green )

sounds awesome, I will have a look, cheers

I have the Acer G257Hu. It's a 25 inch 1440p IPS Matte monitor. It's absolutely perfect for gaming and productivity. The screen and color accuracy is just amazing. I could never go back to an IPS 1080p monitor after using it

EDIT: Also it's cheap at less than $270  usd
