So in games where they get bad fps drops

If u were to run the console on a lower resolution screen like 720p

Would it bennafit from a fps boost like the PC does ?

AMD (and proud) r7 1700 4ghz-

1080p to 720p, probs not that much difference. It's worth a try though.

No, I don't think you will get any performance boost by downscaling your resolution on PS4. I would just stick kwith 1080p , why? Because it look a lot more cleaner and the difference is very noticable.

i Think it renders at whatever the game is set too and then upscales or down scales to fit the Tv so i dont think it will give higher FPS but some games only run at 720p-900p on Xbox so droping it down to 720p even if it did affect it wont be much not too many games run at native 1080p on it that i know of
