I thank everyone on the forums that helped me decide on the parts for this build. You've been a great help.

Now I ask for you to check over the final build to make sure there are no MAJOR issues.

Thanks.

Change the SSD. The V300 used to be good, but Kingston switched to slower flash without telling anybody, which was kind of a dick move. This is the reason everybody hates the V300 and rightly so. I would suggest anything Samsung, Intel(expensive), Crucial or Adata.

I would strongly suggest going for the highest capacity SSD within your budget.  It is a blessing being able to install a few games and CORE PROGRAMS on the main SSD drive.  My current drive is a Sandisk Ultra 2 (of which is being outplaced now but a next-gen Sandisk soon.) 480GB, which I got a week ago for $110 and I do love it.

That being said, 256ish GB is perfectly suitable, even for me.  However, I do think 120GB is too small...  for me...

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.

the 850 evo is 80 bucks for a 250 gig

Were're dealing with Australia: Where everything wants to kill you and PC component prices are fucking ridiculous.

@OP the next good SSD I can find is 90$. The HyperX fury seems alright. Sandforce based, 80$ good speeds. Nothing fancy, but it'll do the job.

As with many others, I believe a different SSD should be looked at.

970 is more efficient

Literally a difference in consumption equal to that of a lightbulb.

do you have any idea how much power a lightbulb uses? or the heat output?

Unlike the 200 series, the 300 series stays fairly cool. 60W is not a lot to sacrifice for a 15% performance gain.

Don't use GpuBoss. Their comparisons are highly inaccurate and claim to meassure performance by comparing uncomparable things, like comparing the clock speed of gpus from different manufacturers . When comparing Graphics cards, stick to synthetic and gaming benchmark

Don't worry, it's a trap you easily fall into.  For a simple GPU performance chart, head over to Anandtech (http://www.anandtech.com/bench/GPU15/1248) or Tomshardware (http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/2015-vga-charts/benchmarks,186.html). They may lack the ease of use, but are comparing real world performance instead of Memory Bus width and shading units. GPUboss comparisons will only work when you look at two cards from the same generation from the same manufacturer, but certainly won't, when comparing AMD to Nvidia cards
