I got a problem connecting my monitor to my laptop

I just bought my monitor about an hour ago, and I plug it in to the laptop using HDMI, and the monitor just showed the screen of the laptop for a split second and went dark, I try it again and the same thing happens.  Tried to use other cables like D-sub (VGA) but I don't think it's a problem with the cable because the same thing happens with the D-sub as well.

What should I do?

My monitor is:

AOC 24" LED G2460FQ
