video size glitch need help

so i had some gopro footage and i put it all together, rendered it out and went to go watch it and this happens :/

i rendered it out at 1080p and im watching it on a 1080p screen so whats up with this ? i already waited 2 hours for this to render so i dont want to do this all over again if i dont have to

 

 

it play in half of the video player screen with big black bars on all four sides of it

Was the original footage 1080? if it was less then you have to scale it up during the edit

ya it was recorded in 1080p edited in 1080p and rendered out in 1080p
