CD/DVD Drive not working :(

This picture probably explains a lot. It is listed in the BIOS, everything is plugged in correctly, it makes noise and opens when the button is pressed and there is even a green flashing light on it. Please help! CXWHSCG.png?1

Uninstall the driver for the drive. Then restart your PC. Tell me what happens.

Just a question before I do that... Will it reinstall itself? I literally work with computers and building and fixing them but I could not care to know shit about CD/DVD drives since I just plug them in and they work for me... And right now I need it to burn a disc...

It should, I had this problem with a HDMI audio driver, i uninstalled it, restarted and it fixed itself, if it doesn't, just find the driver using a program like DriverBooster 3. People give away Serial numbers for it so you should have no problems.

go back to device manager and find the drive, and install the driver.

Its not even in Device Manager anymore  :(
