my boot device doesnt show up?

go to the boot menu, usually by jamming f12 on start, and try to force that hdd to boot.

 

to troubleshoot further if you cant, get bootable usb drive. i use hirens bootcd. gandalf winpe works too. see if you can even read the HDD in the first place.
