Does the size of a Reservior for water cooling have any bearing on better cooling?

For instance, if you had a 1000ml Res. as opposed to 70ml Res.

Or maybe it's based on the amount of components being cooled?

A reservoir is just a place for coolant to be stored. So no, it wont have an impact on cooling.

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

Loop is easier to fill whit big res, but there is not difference in cooling performance.

yes it will, if you have 5000l res. :)

I guess... I think if you have a res that big, once the hot coolant enters the res, the coolant will disperse the heat... :P

More coolant gives the loop more "buffer time" before it heats up. It's useful if you get heat spikes from the components but not if you have components under load for (at a guess) a minute.

A longer tube res makes bleeding easier.

What Ghost said. The loop will take slightly longer to reach its max temperature if there's more coolant to heat up, but it has no impact on the actual cooling capacity.

The only differences are that filling and bleeding the loop will be faster, and aesthetics depending on preferences. Bigger reservoirs look great in large cases IMO, because they fill up the space so well.

So overall, a larger Reservior is more beneficial to the cooling loop rather than a smaller Reservior?

Yes, but don't let this decide on which res you pic.

A larger or smaller res will make 0% noticable difference at the end of the day. With reservoirs, get one that looks good, and fits in your case the best. Watercooling is all about aesthetics (forget about cooling, with good blocks and good radiators you've achieved your main goal of better cooling overall) make your loop as tidy as possible.

Don't fill it up to the max as possible if it means that you have tubes going everywhere. Be a minimalist. Less is better ;) (unless you have a wopping big case to which yes, a giant res to fill up the space is good)

To answer question, using a real world scenario comparing a small Swiftek 70ml reservoir with a EK 250ml res.

If you were stress testing, (not scientific at all, you'll get the drift) after 2 minutes the loop with the 70ml res the cpu temp will be say 50c while the loop with the 250ml res will be 47c

However after half an hour, both loops will be the same temperature, so don't be fooled into thinking you have to get the biggest res you can fit ;)

I just recently built a 900D with 250 Phobya Balancer that while trying to bleed the loop and shaking the rig around and tilting it while turning the pump on and off, the larger res was a god send because everytime you crank up the pump it sucks the level down and then back up once its off, so theres a fair bit of travel. A smaller res would cause issues because of the amount of travel during this process.
