So i don't have much to work with and i want to build a lan rig that i want to be able to move around without carrying my main rig.

I already have an i3 and an mitx mobo. I have ram and storage. I want to get the Elite 110 and then an evga psu.

I was wondering how would the r7 370 stack up with my i3 for performance.

I really only play cs:go with the occasional other games. I'm pretty sure that gta 5 won't be a pleasant experience but I don't know.

What do you guys think?

The 370 would run well with your i3, maxing out games like CS:GO. As far as GTA V goes, it would probably run fine but you might want to turn the settings down a little and lock it at 30 FPS to reduce stuttering, since the i3 would have a little trouble maintaining 60 FPS at times.

Good to know that GTA V could be playable. Thanks!

Most games will run fine. GTA V, Crysis 3, and BF4 might have some issues though. I'd look for a cheap 270 though, It's more powerful.

Like this?

I would maybe suggest getting a good base started, and throwing your main gpu in it when you are gonna use it. Then, when you upgrade your desktop, you can use your old card on the lan rig

Nah, thanks for the suggestion though. I want it to be as small as possible and it would be impossible for my current gpu.
