ok my pc goes up to 80 C when i game 

so i need a cpu cooler right now im am running my fx 8350 with stock cooler 

temprature  in case is 40 C 

cpu temp on idele 45 C

on load 85 or more C 

i was thinking to buy h80i  i measured the space between stock cooler  and 120 mm fan socket 

 it is 30 mm 

so i do not think it will fit  as the h80 i radiator only is 38 mm

so please suggest me a good air cooler thank u

Note :  i can not return it if it does not fit as i live in india  so please suggest me the right cooler which u think will fit in my case

and keep my tempratures normal when im gamming 

 

the heat is too high here my gpu also run on 41 c on idele

Your idle is higher than my max, that's not good at all :c

 

41c seems pretty cool for a GPU actually, mine idles a lot warmer.

Consider the post below as a few of the coolers to choose from. Also look into some of the coolers by Phanteks or a Silver Arrow.

Hyper 212 EVO, Hyper 612, Noctua NHD-14, be quiet! Dark Rock PRO 2, etc...

 

But reseat that damn cooler and if that doesn't help, RMA it.

Get a 212 evo and be done with it those temps are a little high though. Try reseating the cooler like suggested.

you can get a hyper 212 and itll work fine, use as little voltage as possible on your overclock/....voltage=heat
(the benefits from overclocking shrink beyond 4.5 anyway.

you will have to take the bottom fan bracket of the hyper 212 otherwise your ram will be in the way.

edit- thats a very warm case (cooler master my arse, never liked thier cases) see what you can do about getting you room temps lower and turn the rear fan around to act as an intake, take a front 5.25 bay slot out to act as an exhaust and see if that helps (i bet it will, try it now)

 

after you get a 212 you will have to take the fran brackets off, unscrew the heatsink from the brackets, only put the top bracket back on (with a tiny bend on it) and put it back on the cooler, its about 2 minutes work and lets the cooler work with high ram.

They won't RMA a CPU because he got a crappy hot one that runs hot, it's called the silicone lottery for a reason and if you lose in a lottery you don't get the money for your ticket (CPU) back.

i did reseated this damn cooler with new set of thermal paste it didn't help ... getting same temperatures that's the only reason i want to buy a new cooler + i do not think ur room temperature is 35 c

a hyper 212 is very close in performance (i have 3 links to back this up) and costs 1/3 the price, but yeah he does need a new case, coolermaster cases under £80 arnt worth buying and only a select few over that are (storm trooper/stryker)

nh-d14 isnt magic, it doesnt say to the cpu "run cooler" and the cpu obey, it comes down to surface area, airflow, convection and conduction and so long as a cooler isnt badly designed theres not much between them

you have a better board than me and i can overclock, its just not reccomended to push it too far (so keep the speed conservative and the voltages minimal)

you should be able to get 4ghz on 1.3 volts give or take, just set the multi to 20x (with 1.3v) and your good to go

right now every thing in bios is in auto cause i  don't wanna mess with my cpu + when i removed cpu off the socket i saw some melted pasltic in between golden pins so i think maybe chip is melted but its running great without any problems so far 

 

and are u sure i should buy 212 evo will it keep it cool as room temp is around 35 C here and 40 or 50 C in the case ?

the devils in the detail, take a look at the room as a whole and find out what you can do to make it cooler (i know its india but come on)
is the pc backed in under a table with no free air around it?-put it on the desk
check inside and see if its dirty (under and around any fans especially)-if so clean
maybe dont overclock at the moment, but "auto" voltage usually uses more than you need, (check the manual for what the name is in bios) set the voltage to 1.35 and run prime95 for an hour and see if its stable.....if it is then go back and lower the voltage to 1.325 and re-test, then 1.3 and re-test, then 1.275 and re test, lower voltage=lower temps.

this will not solve the heat problem, BUT your cpu will last longer at lower voltages and it will knock a few degrees off it.
can you upload a picture of your actual pc with the side panel off, there may be other ways to improve.

think about this.... you have a 15000 rupee beast cpu, a beast 16500 rupee graphics card....and a cheap case i frankly wouldnt consider buying. you WILL need a better case later on, for 5000 rupee you should be able to get a decent case of sorts (thats what this sharkoon t9 case cost and i highly recommend it) if unsure, pay more.

yes the hyper 212 will be fine its not the worlds best cooler but its a legendary cooler (read some reviews), everyone from newbees with thier first pc on  a budget to overclockers with i5 3570k's@4.4ghz use it because it works very well and is cheap.

in that case see how low you can run undervolt it, see what spuz says your running at now (usually over reads by .025 in my experiance) and take it down .05v at a time and run prime95 blend for an hour and then take it down again, lower voltages=less heat, id probably start a little lower than stock anyway just to get a step ahead early.

well i do not need to lower voltages now as my pc stands idele on 30 C and max is 60 C on full ;oad with prime 95 and aida 64 stress test
