Hi,

Ive finally decided to go ahead and SLI my 970gtx, this will be my first time SLI-ing and therefore i need some guidance. My rig is heavily water cooled and as such i would obviously want to WC the second 970. Ive been looking at the EKWB sli bridges, but I dont think they will be compatible with my waterblock due to the orientation of the in/out water ports

As you can see in the picture the ports don't stick out from the side of the card which would allow the bridge to sit flush on it. Would I need to buy some adapters or something?

thanks

The EK bridges come with a 90 degree angle part. Your block looks exactly like what's compatible with them. Wait a sec. I'll look it up for you.

EDIT: OK yeah. So the FC970 CTX ACX block you got is not compatible with the original Link&Bridge system I was thinking of. But is't fine. It looked kinda clunky anyway.

You can do the '90 degree adaptation' by removing the single terminal from your GPU block. It's pre-installed and removable, right? Three hex screws on the top?

You get left with two slot-type flow ports facing away from the top of the card that are compatible with the Terminal system. Get the Terminal with the correct spacing and if you're left with unused PCI-E slots in between the cads, you'll need the terminators to block the unused flow ports.

Ok well ive bought everything but the ek bridge. I just read on the EK site that it should be compatible with all FC blocks, but i dont see how it fits
the omly screws I see are the ones you can see in the picture going into the actual waterblock just below the black adapter
I think this is what i need: https://shop.ekwb.com/ek-fc-terminal-dual-parallel-3-slot-plexi
