This just started 5 minutes ago.I turn my PC off for 1 minute and when I turn it back on, it is not displaying any connection. Device Manager is showing the port alright but there is no connection. The driver is not the issue. The board I am using is an asrock 970m pro3

Have you checked the other end of the cable to make sure the connection is okay? Reset whatever it is plugged into? Tried another cable?

Yep. Tried a different cable, switch, and even tried going straight into the modem. No indicator lights, too.

Is it an Intel NIC? If you can find the model version, you can download the driver directly from Intel. The one that installs from the motherboard's driver downloads is often a different one.

I had an issue with getting Gigabit to work and downloading the Intel driver worked for me.

No, its realtek. But, I will try to download the driver from realteks website and flash it in the bios. Thanks for reminding me of that.

Nope. The flash did not work.
