A quiet external hard drive

Hi all,

 

I've been using an older LaCie USB 2.0 hard dive for backing up and sporadic storage for a while but it's getting slow now and it's really quite noisy when operating.

 

Has anyone got any suggestions/recommendation for a USB 3 drive that operates quietly, and I'm looking at the 3 - 4TB range.

WD Externals run really quiet.
