GPU in a pre-built system

Today I was thinking, " well this computer sucks."  Then I stumbled across the Galax gtx980 Hof.  And I was thinking next year to build a new system, and wanted to do a white theme.  I have a pre-built system, and it is a cheepo dell, and wanted to put this card in it, and it is later to be put in the new one.  Does anyone think this is possible?
