Audio Jack problems :l

Hi guys,

Im wondering if you guys can help me with a problem im having. When I plug my new laptop into my PA speaker it sounds fine. However, once I plug in my AC adapter I get this really loud static noise in the background. How can I fix this problem? It is VERY important as this laptop will be used for DJing.har

EDIT: When I use my old 65 Watt Charger, the sound is eliminated. So is it the charger thats defective?

i can only say that a non-original charger can/might do weird stuff like that. I had a laptop with a 3rd party charger that spiked to 100% cpu utilization whenever the charger was plugged in, the laptop was nearly unusable... once I got an original charger it was fixed... so yea it may not necessarily be that the charger is defective but if it is not the original charger (or at least the same specifications) that may be it
