BIOS Black Screen

Hey y'all, I'm new to the fourm, but I've been watching LTT on the Youtubes for a while. I just got done building my first rig, and all things said it turned out pretty well (after a lot of trouble shooting and returning a DOA MoBo).

 

I got Win 7 installed, and I am typing this out okay. It's a victory for me, don't judge.

 

But for some friggin' reason I cannot access my BIOS, Boot menu, anything... It sends me to a black screen.  I tried getting a BIOS update from the MoBo manufactuer, but they were not compatiable with Win 7 x64. Any idea what's going on?

 

CPU: AMD XF-9590

MOBO: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5 R5

GPU: XFX R9 390

RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum (2  x 8gb 1866Mhz)

PSU: EVGA Supernova 850 G2

OS: Windows 7 x64

Reset the CMoS, and flash the bios, dont install the bios update from the OS look up how to reset the cmos and flash the bios.
