Slow internet connection

Hi guys, i have this problem with my internet connection, it is fine if i am watching youtube videos at 720 or 1080 even watching live streams at source resolution but when i start playing games even if its a single player game that doesn't require internet connection my internet speed drops to the point that i am unable to watch any kind of videos not even on the lowest quality, i dont think my internet connections is that bad.
