I'm kinda thinking open headphones, and I want them to be hella comfortable as I use my headphones ALOT and these Razer headphones are just...ugh, to wear for more than an hour or two.

What would be the best/highest reccomendation amongst those?

The ATH-M50X is overrated in my opinion.

I'd suggest the ATH-AD700X out of those headphones.

But if you can I'd get the AKG K7xx when their on sale again: https://www.massdrop.com/buy/akg-k7xx-massdrop-first-edition-headphones

I have looked at the k7xxs, and they just never go up, and when they finally do go back up, its for like a week, when I happen to not have the money, then they're gone for an eternity again.

I'll look into the ATH AD700Xs

I would get the ATH-M50X or the Beyerdynamic DT-990-Pro 250.

I totally need a breakdown of the pros/cons of each of these headphones. ;-;

I would recommend the following headphones:

Sony MDR7506 - http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDR7506-Professional-Diaphragm-Headphone/dp/B000AJIF4E/ref=pd_sim_267_2?ie=UTF8&dpID=51DCPnqbdjL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=085QWY160C2VY9XJND1A

[They're really great headphones for people who are keen in hearing each instrument (sort of) and monitor everything going on, but they are quite uncomfortable over really long sessions]

Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro 250 OHM - http://www.amazon.com/Beyerdynamic-DT-990-Pro-250-Professional-Acoustically-Applications/dp/B0011UB9CQ/ref=pd_sim_267_7?ie=UTF8&dpID=41-lloeO7IL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR111%2C160_&refRID=085QWY160C2VY9XJND1A

[They're commonly recommended and for good reason; they have a great soundstage with a near neutral sound which is great if you want to hear an almost clean uncolored sound]

Grado SR80e - http://www.amazon.com/Grado-Prestige-Series-SR80e-Headphones/dp/B00L1LXOWS/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1447833847&sr=1-1&keywords=grado+sr80e

[They're one of the best headphones when it comes to the price since it can balance sound and comfort really well especially with its open-back design]

I would recommend saving up for some other headphones from HifiMan or Sennheiser, but I wouldn't recommend spending too much money unlesss you're really into music

It's not like the same handful of headphones get recommended here every day.

Not Helpful?

Leaning more toward the DT990 now.

Also leaning more towards the DT990 now. Those Grado ones look hella uncomfortable. I use my headphones for long lengths of time, and comfort is a nice thing to have.

I know a lot of friends who use that headphone for like 8/12 hours a day. It's a very comfortable headphone and has amazing sound quality :)

Alright. I will look into them very closely. They sound like kickass headphones.

The Q701 doesn't have a very deep low end, if lows are your thing.

I'm not really a fan of it since it's soundstage seems like its lacking in some of the lows and sometimes even the treble, but headphones are more of a subjective thing so its completely your choice whether it's worth it or not

Well if you made up then go for it.

Keep in mind though the DT990s are known to be ear fatiguing after long periods of use due to how sharp they are.
