new job offer.

i just got offered a job as head/only IT manager at a verizon retail store. its a franchise and i know the people who work there pretty well. its not directly verizon.

 

anyway i was wondering if anyone here had worked at verizon and could give me some feedback. 

 

currently they really need my help.

 

all of their work stations are running windows 7 desktop and are connected via open wifi because they dont know how to configure their networks. the main server in the back had one of its redundant powersupplys fail and they havent replaced it. they cant connect to the main server because they are using wifi. most of the POS computers are newish. but some need to be replaced. 

 

his networks are pretty bad also. i am guessing its from overstretched cat 5e cables but it really slows down his system.

 

i would also be doing all the phone repairs for the area so thats like 4 stores.

 

anyway i was hoping you guys could give me advice if you had worked at verizon or work in the IT sector as what i should request for payment and such.
