First off, I am not sure if this is the best section for this. Mods, please move to a better section if you feel appropriate.

So my workplace just got some android tablets ( I know nothing else about them) for various uses. They want to be able to see our file system on our main server. My first thought was to just put them on the domain, but after a couple min of research that seemed like a never ending fight. It turns out that there are several file explorer type apps that let you view network locations. Has anyone used any of these? If so, which ones should I stay away from? Paying a few bucks per tablet (though I am assuming they used the same account for all of them) isn't a big deal. I won't have much time in the office during my thanksgiving break from college, so it would be nice to get in and get the app running and get out.

Right now I am looking into Solid Explorer and ES file explorer. Many people reported bloatware and setting changes after installing ES file explorer. Unfortunately I don't have any sort of network storage in my dorm to test it with, and even if I did it would be screwy because of the dorm network.

ES file explorer is great

the bloatware comes only if you say "yes install this stuff"

Cool. I installed it on my phone earlier and haven't noticed anything yet. But I am used to unchecking the bloatware stuff so I must have just done it by default. But since I don't have network storage my testing can only go as far as screwing around with the app to see if it crashes and stuff.
