Hi forum, well so far made around 6-7topics on forum between upgrading a pre built pc or making a new one and decided to go for a new one, since my uncle wants his pre built pc back in the next months.

And from having no money I managed to save 400euros so far and will save alot more and got a friend that can help me with a loan this upcoming February/March.

With me currently I got:

- Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
- Cooler Master G550M (Bronze Rated PSU)

Recently I ordered also Hyper X Fury 2x4GB RAM, 120GB Samsung 850 Evo and a NOX SX computer case.

Case link on Amazon.es: http://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B008CXLJY8?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=A1AT7YVPFBWXBL

However returned them, the SSD can get a 250GB one for 15euros more, due to the price drops lately, and RAM well can´t use DDR3 with Skylake platform.

And the case at that time was more of get something cheap in case I was without computer and needed something to help me out.

Case is not bad itself for the price but the top part in the extra fan you can install if you place your hands in there the metal is so fragile, and the PSU screwing spots one of the parts is not even well made and one of the screws gets loose and that's something I don´t want.

So far this is what I want to buy:

However I am not sure if I should go for the Noctis 450 White or Black edition, what would fit better on a themed build, I am more a fan of the white version since I don´t really like too strong colors like black, but with led fans inside could help fix that issue a bit if I go for black version.

And please don´t comment on the Graphic Card it´s the one I want and will fit my needs, however I am not sure which brand would you guys choose for GTX 950, I am focused on Zotac GTX 950 AMP! or the Gigabyte GTX 950 Extreme or even maybe EVGA GTX 950 FTW.

I know the RAM is also expensive but I like it´s design and I see it fitting nicely for my themed build.

Sorry for the trouble, good thing is at least the build from here will get to life in the next months although, so won´t be a if build which for me is something I wanted to do for a long while lol.

Price differens on case from White to Black version is around 15euros extra for White, and Zotac GTX 950 is basically 30euros cheaper on Amazon italy compared to the EVGA or the Gigabyte one.

Will use editing software so i7 kinda would be nice.

I understand the concern with the i7 might be overkill sometimes but won´t be for gaming only so =p

Yea well the main reason is that an i5 will still perform admirably in editting scenarios but you can get over twice the GPU performance:

(I also swapped parts as sample parts for a build in the white Noctis):

CPU Cooler: CRYORIG H7 49.0 CFM CPU Cooler  ($34.50 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Asus Z170-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  ($158.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 390 8GB Nitro Video Card  ($304.99 @ Newegg)
Case: NZXT Noctis 450 ATX Mid Tower Case  ($129.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $1238.40

I like the R9 390 idea, but I am mostly a MOBA player and I was looking forward for the GTX 950 Moba feature question is it worth at all or just idiotic fake advertising trying to lure people into it although I won´t deny in the future with a upgraded monitor I won´t jump into other games since my current screen is sadly a 1024x768 and can´t really play more than MOBA´s as things are, without cropping the screen so I guess focusing too much on MOBA´s just due to a feature ain´t good but still undecided here although.

For PowerSupply I think I might change for a 650/750w PowerSupply I don´t feel very comfortable with a R9 390 with 550W´s PSU only specially when overclocking sadly can´t return the PSU I got atm to amazon but could sell it on ebay and get some money from it since it´s brand new.

Also didn´t really liked that motherboard I know being picky, went for the MSI z170 gaming 7 I know black and red colors but with some led fans should be fine plus it will nearly match the Asus R9 390 Strix and the RAM.

Motherboard ends 30euros cheaper compared to the Gigabyte one I listed before and GPU ends tecnically between 30-50euros cheaper than the one you mentioned.

So far new build looks like this:

-snip-

Id take the MSI 390 instead: (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-r9390gaming8g) (or the Sapphire Nitro 390 which is even better: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/images/b3357.jpg)

ASUS AMD cards are just bad. The Hierarchy for AMD cards goes kinda like this:

Sapphire >= MSI >= Powercolor > XFX > ASUS = Gigabyte

I'd also take the G2 over the P2: (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-r9390gaming8g)

apparently the platinum usints have worse voltage regulation in order to increase their efficiency. it also saves you $20.

Didn´t know about the EVGA P2 PSU issue thanks for letting me know and will go for a 750W supply since on amazon.co.uk its like 12/13euros cheaper than the 650W one can´t say no to that.

And I might go for Sapphire since there is a version with backplate included but depends still.

Link to sapphire site with their 300 series with backplates not even I knew about it just found out as well.

And apparently its clock its higher as well.
