I have windows 8.1, and my bluetooth isn't working. The bluetooth lwflt, virtual bluetooth device, and the bluetooth audio device all have errors. Code 31 for the first two, and code 10 for the last. I've tried everything I can think of and researched, any help at this point would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry could you elaborate? Also Idk if this is related, but my laptop wont connect to my phone's hotspot either.

Ok so you checked the Device Manager and you saw that WIFI and bluetooth both have yellow flags next to them? To me it sounds like the chipset for the motherboard needs to be installed. The chipset has a driver that needs to be installed for things like those to work sometimes. I would go to your laptops support page and look for these drivers.

Only the 3 things I mentioned above have the yellow flags next to them, when i look at my computer's hardware. If i go into device manager I can see them with the yellow flag if I allow viewing hidden devices. I would look for drivers, but I bought my laptop from a not-very-big company, so I can't find any. Also, the device is manufactured by qualcomm atheros, if that helps. I tried troubleshooting and those three were targeted, but windows was unable to fix them

You may have to go and search for the model number of the devices, then. That means taking the computer apart a little. Its not an ASUS or HP or name brand laptop?

Nah,its an ibuypower. Its a small company. They don't have drivers for my laptop, so I've tried to look for them online but can't seem to find any qualcomm or microsoft bluetooth drivers.

Call them. I have heard of their company and they should be able to help you. If you havent had it for long, they may even take it back and fix it.

I've had it for a long time, about 3 years haha. They said something about not supporting my laptop anymore, which was why I've been trying to see if the companies who made my bluetooth devices had driver downloads.

The bluetooth/wifi adapter could be bad. Ive had that happen to some peoples PC before i fixed. Not something that happens a lot, but does happen. check the connections to make sure they are secure and then determine if replacing it is an option.
