Need a 144Hz 24" G-Sync Monitor

 

I have been looking at the Acer Predator XB240HA monitor, it may be a TN panel but it ticks every box for competitive gaming,

ASUS PG279Q. 27" 1440p, 144 to 165Hz, G-sync, IPS, ~10ms input lag. It's pricy, though, but what else can you expect with that spec list.

is like buying a new TV, but this case is a monitor high end.

10ms input lag? for gaming? nah

You're confusing latency with response time.

The fastest gaming monitors out there have about 9ms of input lag, and they're TNs. This is an IPS with about 10ms, which is still less than 1 frame of latency gaming at 60 FPS. It's pretty damn good.

i dont want a pretty good monitro straightaway, this is my first build and im still not sure if i want to upgrade my rig in a years time to 4k gaming
