No HDMI signal

Today my new MSI GTX 760 arrived. I used to run a GTS 250 with HDMI and no problems. When I plug the HDMI cable into the video card it says "No HDMI Cable". The monitor and the cable works when I use my GTS 250. Can it be a bad HDMI cable that won't work with hdmi 1.4 or is it a dead port?

did u try different cables like dvi cable

Take the card out of the PC and then look if you can get a signal from the internal graphics. If so, your card and/or motherboard (PCI-E slot) is broken and also try different ports. (of course it's then still technically possible your card is broken as well, but that would be a major coincidence).

Nope 23" 1920x1080 Dell monitor

the best thing to do now is contact the manufacturer or nvidia last time i contacted nvidia it was a fast response they might solve your problem good luck and also try using your hdmi cable with another monitor or TV
