Strange smell

So i just bought my first gaming mouse,it isnt expensive at all just 10 euros.and the first thing i noticed was that my mouse and my hand smelled of a VHS tape literally thats the only thing i can think of.and i know that i might be overeacting to this but i just wanna know if this is just some cheapo plastic or is the smell gonna go away in time.

A "gaming mouse" for 10 dollars? Ha, don't be surprised that it stinks like that. If it were me I would replace it or not have bought one so cheaply in the first place.
