Strange smell

So i just bought my first gaming mouse,it isnt expensive at all just 10 euros.and the first thing i noticed was that my mouse and my hand smelled of a VHS tape literally thats the only thing i can think of.and i know that i might be overeacting to this but i just wanna know if this is just some cheapo plastic or is the smell gonna go away in time.

A "gaming mouse" for 10 dollars? Ha, don't be surprised that it stinks like that. If it were me I would replace it or not have bought one so cheaply in the first place.

Well, you bought a cheap 10€ mouse so don't expect it to smell like a new cars interior. The plastic it's made from, is a cheap one just to keep the whole mouse cheap, so that's from where is the smell

i didnt even plan on buying this,it just happened.but can i do anything about the smell,is it toxic?
